SunnyKids has stepped in to provide a much-needed solution with their transitional housing project, offering six fully furnished townhouses at a reduced rate, with no rental history requirement.

Real estate agency principal Jodi Price, who will manage the townhouses, believes this initiative will help survivors establish a solid rental history and provide them with the support and training needed to succeed in the long-term rental market. The demand for affordable rentals on the Sunshine Coast is high, with weekly rents averaging $700 to $800, and a typical 30 to 50 applicants per property. This project offers a unique opportunity for survivors to rise to the top of the pile and secure a stable home.
